Detailed Construction Plans and Laser Cut Parts!

Construction drawings were developed from 3-view drawings and profile images. Drawings were done using AutoCAD and are accurate and fully detailed. Sheet two of the drawings has additional construction details. There is a detail of how to fabricate a BF109 style spinner, a plastic canopy, scale radiator scoops and exhaust stacks.	Included in the BF109 Construction package are complete instructions with photos on how this model was constructed. These are the same details found on this web site but in an easy-to-view PDF document. Laser cut parts are available A colledtion of images that simulate the BF109F-2 flown by Leutnant Max-Helmuth Ostermann from the 7/JG54, Russian Front, October 1941 are included for reference. These simulated photos are screen captures from IL2-Forgotten Battles combat flight simulator.
	An insignia sheet is included with the plan pack that can be printed 1:1 on a color ink jet printer. Using Avery peel-n-stick lables you can create easy sticky "decals". Apply a light coat of Krylon satin finish sealer to protect. Flying Qualities: This model is a fast and responsive. It is recommened for experienced e-modelers who are comfortable with flying similar aircraft (like the Jim Ryan warbirds). Equipped with the Mega motor it really moves but will fly at 2/3 throttle without any problem. The Clark Y airfoil and washout allows the plane to be slowed downed for an easy belly landing in the grass. As of 09/16/2004 more than 75 flights have been made and the aircraft has proven to be an excellent flyer.
