About my Slow Flyer
This is my personal version of a slow flyer for indoor and zero wind park flying. Power is a stock GWS IPS DXA motor and GWS 10x4.7 prop. Consturction consists of a Walmart™ arrow shaft with built up balsa wing and tail surfaces. The equipment racks and cabanes are made of 1/16" and 1/32" plywood.

My inspiration for the design came from a variety of different aircraft including the Little Larry, Skeeter, Sky Crawler, Slow Stick and Todd's Models Gym-E.

This model is equipped with 2 HS-55 servos a GWS 4P receiver and a GWS 2 amp ESC. Power is supplied by a 7x370mah nimh battery packs. Flys nice at slow at 1/3 power.

I covered this aircraft with with Reynolds Wrap™ using a purple glue stick as the attachment method. After the wrap is secured to the framework and is stretched tight with fingers it is shrunk tight with a hair dryer. Reynolds Wrap™ has good tensile strenght and holds up well for general flying provided you aren't prone to crashing. Sharp objects are not friendly to Reynold's Wrap™ covered models. I have had good success with the wrap on my Tinys.
