Fuselage Construction - Part 4

The wing fillets have been sheeted with 1/32" balsa. They are a distinguishing feature to this Mig 3 model.
The hatch/canopy area is removable for access to the radio equipment and the proposed 8-1100 nimh battery pack. A plastic canopy has to be added to the hatch at this point.
The completed airframe at this point is approximately 7.2 ounces and this includes .56 oz fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin finish. The model will be primed with autobody primer, sanded smooth and then painted with acrylic paint.
Span 31" , Length 26" and Wing Area 164 Sq inches. Power with be a Mega 16/15/6t motor.
